Malibu began her show career with a Reserve Best Puppy in Show, quickly followed by Best Puppy in Specialty at the 2024 United Poodle Association Eastern Specialty. She completed her UKC Championship in just two weekends and her Grand Championship in only three weekends, all before nine months of age.
By 16 months, Malibu earned her Emerald Grand Champion, followed by her Ruby Grand Champion title at 17 months. Now 20 months old, she has just achieved her Sapphire Grand Champion and is actively working toward her Diamond.
Malibu’s record includes 30+ Best of Breed wins, over 20 Group placements including multiple Group 1s and four Best in Show Brace awards. One big highlight includes a Group 1 win at Perry over more than 90 Gun Dog entries and a Reserve Best in Show over 300+ dogs.
In AKC, Malibu has just dipped her toes in earning Group 1 and Best of Breed at her very first B Match, followed by Reserve Winners B**ch to a four-point major at her first official AKC show.
Malibu is currently ranked UKC’s #4 Standard Poodle for 2025.
Born 05/04/2024, she is still under two years old and continues to be actively campaigned.
All health testing will be completed prior to breeding.
Malibu is everything you could ever want in a poodle. She’s versatile, joyful, and always eager for a job. Whether she’s in the show ring, training for sports, or working as a service dog, she throws herself into it with so much heart.
She has medium-to-high energy and drive, which makes her a lot of fun to work with, but she also has a good off switch that makes her easy to live with. Around kids and other dogs, Malibu absolutely lights up! She adores them and shows her sweetest, most playful side. With adult strangers, she’s more neutral. She’s friendly, but her focus is really on her handler and her people, which makes her incredibly reliable. That loyalty and handler-driven nature is one of her best qualities.
Malibu is prissy and poodley in all the right ways, elegant, a little fancy, but always full of enthusiasm and fun. She loves life, she loves to learn, and she loves being part of the action. To us, she isn’t just a service dog, show dog, or sport dog. She’s our partner, our companion, and truly the heart of our kennel. With her brains, balance, and joy for life, Malibu is the perfect foundation for everything we’re building.
Performance
Malibu is an accomplished dog who has proven herself across a wide variety of dog sports. She holds an incredible 45 titles, excelling in rally, obedience, nose work, fast CAT, coursing, barn hunt, and fetch. Her dedication and versatility at her age are super impressive!
Over her career, Malibu has earned 40+ sport placements so far, with multiple first-places in rally, obedience, nose work, and barn hunt. She has completed nosework searches in under 7 seconds and finished rally one courses in under 1 minute. These achievements have helped secure her place as the #1-ranked UKC Rally 1 dog in 2025.
She has also been recognized with 19 Total Dog awards, which highlight dogs who excel in both performance and conformation. Of those, five were earned at regional qualifying events.
While Malibu has trained in agility and dock diving, she hasn’t titled in them yet, as we haven’t competed! Her willingness to take on new challenges reflects her drive, adaptability, and joy for learning! Qualities that carry through in every sport she pursues.
